TRAUMA

Ok, so tons to blog about, but first things first.  MY HAIR.

On Tuesday I went to get a haircut.  I didn't reallllly need one, but Mom offered to pay so I went for it.  Little did I know how I would RUE THE DAY.  It was SO BAD you guys.  I went into the bathroom afterwards and cried.  Katy and Christy even admitted that it was a horrible cut. It was TOTALLY Mrs. Brady.  Yes. Awful.  At first I thought "Oh, Jo! Your one true beauty."  But then, once I saw the back, the line that came to mind was from Howl's Moving Castle: "I see no point in living if I can't be beautiful!"  That's how bad it was.

So I went to a different place to see if there was any way to fix it.  The stylists there were shocked at how bad the cut was.  The nice gay guy kept saying "Oh you poor ting!" over and over again.  There wasn't a ton my girl could do, but it's better at least.  Just freakishly short in the back.

OH and to make matters worse: my hair started coming in darker once I got pregnant, much to my EVERLASTING SORROW.  So when my hair got cut super short, all the rest of my blonde came off.  I now have totally brown hair.  I don't even recognize myself when I look in the mirror anymore.  Christy swears my blonde will come back, but I'm not holding out any hope.  At least I know it will grow back and this pixie cut in the front/practically buzzed in the back hairstyle won't be forever.

I know I'm being dramatic, but I think it's warranted.  I don't look like myself and it's upsetting!

Ruby of the Rings

My dad is a bit of a Lord of the Rings fanatic.  One of his favorite things is to recite his favorite inspiring speeches to us, so we made this video for his birthday.

Ruby has quite a career ahead of her!
