Saturday was my last day at Aegis. I'm glad it's over, but I'll miss some people (especially Peggy) and I know that it was good for me. And not JUST because it boosted my self-esteem. I did something hard that I originally hated, which usually I avoid. I'm really good at cleaning now. I made lots of money. I learned how to be really nice to disagreeable people who are mean in response. I got to help people, and love old people even though they're scary sometimes.
I read so many books this summer. And took a lot of baths. I will miss both those things in Provo. Plus I'll miss Lucy. She's going to be so grown up when I see her again. I don't like the idea of saying goodbye to her.
I thought this summer was going to be the bleakest and most despair-ridden 4 months of my life. Luckily, it was 1 terrible month, 2 months of progressing hope and excitement, and now the final month(ish) will be joyful in Provo! I can't imagine what (who) caused the change.
So, I leave in 4 days. My paper chain is SHORT.

You made a paper chain! That is so awesome. I love paper chains. Maybe I should make one for my due date! Actually, that's a really awesome idea and I think I'm going to do it.
Guess what. I put a link to your blog on my blog. That's because I think you're cool.
