Advice on Being a Girl

Eyebrow waxing.  What do I need to know?  I've never done it because I'm not a real girl apparently.  For some reason I'm nervous to.   Probably silly, right?

So this is what I'm wondering:

Have you done this?
Where should I go?
Do I need to know anything other than that I should grow out my eyebrows for a while first?
Does it hurt?
Will you go with me?

And then my fears will go away. Thank you.

Did you paint those eyebrows on, or did you just copy and paste MY eyebrows?

No, never waxed. I did have mine threaded a couple weeks ago... interesting. It hurt a lot, but totally worth it. :)

DO IT. It was one of those things that I told myself for ages, "Eh, I don't NEED it. I can just pluck them myself." NO. It's a million times better when someone else does them. Like my whole face changes for the better when they're done.

I wish you were here. My friend does it out of her house for $8. I'd go with you and hold your hand and then tell you how amazing you look afterward.

I went once with Sara-she got hers done often and it was pretty cheap too...it was somewhere in provo-i'll ask her, but honestly it didn't hurt and you tell them exactly what you want-they'll keep it natural if you tell them etc.

So, I may or may not blog stalk you because your baby is adorable... But I felt inclined to comment on this one. You should TOTALLY get your eyebrows threaded. It is indeed very painful, but the results are unrivaled. I've had my eyebrows waxed and threaded, and threading was by far the best. Besides, your eyebrows will look as sharp as the beautiful women of Bollywood as they all thread their eyebrows. Totally worth it. :)

If I am going to spend money on myself to get something done it is definitely eyebrow waxing. If you do the threading you will have to let me know what you think. I finally broke down last summer and bought my own waxing kit and do it myself, but I have yet to do someone else's eye brows other than myself and my hubby. I used to think it hurt, but now it doesn't even bother me. There are people who are better than others for pain. Good luck and enjoy the end result!

Wait, didn't you see the you tube video of Glozel? and her Saturday Nads demonstration? It should be just like that right?.......

Actually, it's not that bad, and I am a frikin' baby when it comes to dealing with my eye brows. I would much rather wax them every time than pluck, hands down.
