18 months

My Ruby is technically nearly 19 months, but she just went to her 18 month appointment.  She is so average, size-wise: 49th percentile for height, 61st percentile for weight.

Here are the words that she says reliably:
Daddy
Mama
Baba (my dad)
Christy
ball
book
shoes
fish
uh-oh
more
mine
me
no
yeah
hi
bye
meow, quack, moo, roar

Someone mistakenly told me that at 18 months she should be able to say 50 words, so I thought she was slow, but then the doctor laughed and said that at 18 months she should just be able to say 5-10, so I'm relieved.

Ruby loves:

mustard, more than anything
splashing in the bath
ring around the rosie
the iPad (facetiming especially)
playing outside
hot dogs, yogurt, bananas
kissing
Tigger (he must be under her arm in order to sleep)
Sesame Street (especially Elmo and Cookie Monster)
Super Why!
Yo Gabba Gabba
wrasslin with her daddy
sidewalk chalk
more mustard
other kids
Nursery (hallelujah)
coloring with crayons
stickers
babies
animals
bringing us our shoes and jackets so we can go outside

She is an extremely active little girl.  If I try to keep her inside all day, she goes crazy.  She is pretty bossy, always telling people what to do and physically guiding (pushing) people (Landon) to where she wants them to go.  She is sooo affectionate.  If she loves you, she will want to hug and kiss you all the time. I LOVE it.  She imitates anything we do.  We're at a point right now where her brain is just exploding with learning things so quickly.  It is amazingly fun to watch her learn things.  She also understands pretty much everything we say.  She doesn't always obey, the little punk.  If Kyle counts to 3 she'll usually acquiesce, but she makes me get up and stop her/bring her/whatever to make her obey.  Mom isn't very authoritative, I guess.  I try though!  She finally doesn't sleep like a baby--all over the crib, constantly moving.  She now sleeps with a pillow and blanket (her favorite is the robot blanky from Nieman).  The second we put her down, she lays her head on the pillow with her bottom sticking in the air, tugging Tigger under her arm.  It's amazingly adorable.

We love our Ruby girl like crazy.
