Chester has been my car since I was 16. That's 9 years. That's the longest relationship I've ever had.
I have loved my little old Toyota Corolla ridiculously. He has never given me any trouble and he has been a part of pretty much every important event in my life since I started driving him. It's silly how many memories he's part of.
Vehicular needs alter when you have a kid. Chester would be fine, but he's possibly not the most reliable transportation ever (although I still think he has at least 5 good years left in him), and putting a carseat in a little car like him isn't the easiest thing in the world. And side airbags would be nice And it would be awesome if you could see the speedometer at night.
That's why we now have a new car. As a result of the Great Car Shuffle of the Anderson family, Kyle and I have a Honda CR-V. I love this car. When it was Dad's it was known as The Perfect Car. And it is absolutely perfect for what my little family needs. Kyle and I haven't quite decided on a name for it, although we are throwing around some ideas.
I love my new car, but it was bittersweet to let go of Chester. I did cry a teeny tiny bit. But at least I know he's going to a good home--Katy gets him now!

I like the name Count Remington Vaughn. We could call him "The Count", or Remington, or Remmy, or CRV...
Oh Chester! At least Chester's legacy will live on through Katy!
Just yesterday I was thinking, "Becca's blog has been kind of quiet...I hope she's doing ok!"
Glad to see you smiling and holding your sweet baby and looking all pretty!
So I haven't seen your face in a couple of weeks--and I say that you look skinny, your haircut is CUTE and your baby is adorable! How about Clyde Rudolph Vector for the CRV? or Cliche Revolutionary Vacation? Or Alexander?
WOW! Congrats on the new car. That it awesome!!
You are one hot mom! Check out those pictures!
Oh, I loved Chester. It touched my heart that you cried a few, tiny tears.
PS your haircut is ADORABLE. And you know I mean your baby is okay too I guess I mean whatever. Also, I drove in Chester for the first time today for like a year and it felt SO GOOD. Freaky at first (since I've been driving Dad's creepy robot space ship car) but so so good.
Becca your hair is SO cute. I love it and I think Ruby looks a lot like you. I'm glad Chester is going to a good home. :)
